Some new additions to the residency program include the "EAGO" rotation and the "MEGA Fridays."

During the EAGO rotation, senior residents rotate through ENT, Allergy, GYN and Ophthalmology for a duration of one week / elective.  This new unique rotation enables our residents to gain exposure to various subspecialties prior to becoming internists.

The last friday of the month is designated as "MEGA Friday."  The day begins with an exceptional one hour interactive session on electrocardiograms with a dedicated cardiologist.  Then, the residents perform attending rounds with a subspecialist and participate in ACP Board Questions.

The "Resident Council" consists of elected representatives from each academic year who meet once a month to discuss various issues amongst residents and provide peer support. The chief residents provide a report of these sessions to the program director and teaching faculty.
