Formal evaluations play an important role in the program. Faculty and students regularly evaluate resident performance. Likewise, residents and students are asked to evaluate the program and faculty.
These assessments, along with feedback provided through regular meetings with the Program Director, help residents monitor their progress, recognize areas of strength and strengthen any areas of weakness.
At St. Mary's, residents' opinions are valued by faculty, staff and ancillary co-workers. A responsive program administration is not only open to suggestion, but regularly implements changes based on residents' recommendations.
